External Wall Insulation onto Masonry
A simple solution to a major problem, External wall insulation is a proven development in the reduction of heat loss from buildings. The Jubizol system was established in Central Europe over 50 years ago. The system acts as a jacket to the building, keeping in the warmth, whilst protecting the structure from the outside elements.
The JUB EWI onto Masonry system is a fully developed external wall insulation system with optimal insulation against heat loss. It is based on using either EPS, Phenolic or Mineral Fibre insulating panels that are flame retardant and available in a range of thicknesses to achieve the required level of thermal performance.
Depending on the substrate quality and type, the system can be installed by adhesive only, by mechanically fixing only or by a combination of the two.

Whatever the substrate, External wall insulation can be used to to thermally upgrade and reduce the cost of heating. New life and longevity can be applied to existing buildings, whilst new-build benefits from a quicker more cost effective approach, rather than the traditional build of the past.
The JUB EWI System offers a number of key advantages:
- U Values as low as 0.08 W/m2k
- No internal disruption
- Protects the building
- Prolongs the lifetime of the building
- Improves living conditions
- Speed of application
- Water repellant
- Reduces CO2 emissions
A thin coat render system can be used over a number of different substrates.
A silicone/acrylic render is suitable for indoor or outdoor use with good water repellency and long-term protection against driving rain.
Typically these render systems are used over eps insulation, a render carrier board and cement base coats.they can also be used on rendering over tired but stable facades that needs to have a modern makeover.
